Game Of Craps
From the many dice games played, craps still remains one of the most popular as it always was. The objective of the game includes rolling a pair of dice and gambling on its outcome. Craps includes plenty of betting opportunities to win in the game. Many people consider it a high roller game that involves a lot of luck, but everyone plays it and many new players learn craps online.
The game of craps originated from the Old English game ‘Hazard’ and some others also believe the game dates back to the Crusades who used to wager with pig’s knuckles in place of the dice, in their free time. Once the French were introduced to the game, it underwent a few changes and was then similar to the game we have now at land based and online casinos. After the game of craps took a turn through New Orleans its popularity grew a lot among the American crowd. Here’s showin’ you how to roll them bones and see what luck they bring ya….!
How to play craps online
To play craps online, select the number of coins you would like to bet by clicking on them individually. The denominations range from $1, $5, $25 and $100. Once you have selected the amount you wish to wager, click on the type of bet you would like to place them on, that is, pass line, don’t pass line, come and don’t come bet.
The Pass Line – The easiest bet in craps is the Pass Line bet. It is also the safest one as it is an even money bet. Place you bets on the Pass Line area and make you’re come out roll… this is the initial roll in the game. If you receive a 7 or 11 known as the natural you win and if you receive 2, 3, or 12 on the first shoot then you lose. If you receive any other number then it is a ‘Point’ and you need to re-roll this point before you roll out a 7 to win. If the 7 come before your point number then you obviously lose.
Don't Pass – This is relatively the opposite of the Pass line bet. You win if you receive a 2 or 3 and lose on a 7 or 11. If you get a 12 it results in a push. If you get any other number besides this, which will be your point, then you need to keep rolling the dice until you roll out a point or 7 to win.
Come – Like the pass line bet, it can be made at any time and you are allowed to bet on the odds if the point is rolled out on the initial roll of the dice.
Don't Come – this is opposite the come bet where if you receive a 2 or 3 you win and lose on a 7 or 11. A 12 brings a tie to the game. The other numbers you may receive is the come point and you need to receive a 7 before you roll out a come point to win.
Once you understand the betting options it is good to follow the online craps tips. Learn as much as you can before you start betting and playing.
